Boudoir Session for Partner | Boudoir Experience in Richmond, VA

I love when someone books a session thinking it’s just going to be a gift for their partner, but then something shifts. Somewhere between the getting ready and the final shots, it becomes something bigger.

That’s what happens for many clients. What started as a sweet surprise for someone else turned into a really beautiful moment of connection with themselves.

Those are my favorite kinds of sessions—the ones that begin as a gift for someone else, and end up being a gift for you, too.

It’s one thing to witness a shift during a session and it’s another to hear what it felt like from the inside. I’m always honored when clients open up about that. Here are real words, from a real client shared:

What made you choose to book a session?

“I really wanted to capture this version of myself as I enter a new chapter in my life. Also as a gift to my soon-to-be-husband.”

How did you feel before your session? After?

“I was a bit nervous before my session. Rebecca’s energy and the calmness of the environment relieved my nervousness almost instantly. Rebecca was ready, so therefore that made me feel ready.”

What was the best part of your experience? Would you change anything?

“I enjoyed being able to experience myself in a way that I have never experienced before. It gave me confidence in ways I’ve always thought about but didn’t think I could achieve.”

What advice would you give someone who was nervous or hesitant to book a boudoir session with me?

“Rebecca’s demeanor is calm and caring from the start. I never felt judged at all! You can tell that her goal is to capture the beauty in every moment with you, which is very helpful when being vulnerable.”
