Boudoir Self-Portraits in my Richmond Garden
As a boudoir photographer, who wanted new self-portraits, taking them in my garden made the most sense. My garden is my sacred space. It’s a place that inspires me. A place that reminds me of beauty on the most mundane days. It reminds me that when you put care into living things, while also giving them the space to grow, you get something beautiful in return. Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but in the end, in the big picture, it all works out.
While I was nervous about getting in front of the camera, I remembered what matters.
Showing up as I am, where I am.
Showing up for myself.
Honoring this version of me.
Honoring who I’ve always been.
Creating space to feel powerful in a moment where I don’t feel “perfect.”
